ZTGAS ZT200‑2 Hydrogen‑Nitrogen Gas Mixer Deployed at JCET Automotive Electronics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. — Ensuring Reliable Gas Supply for Semiconductor Packaging & Testing

2026-08-21

Against the rapid development of domestic semiconductor packaging and testing industry, the stability of specialty‑gas mixing and continuous gas supply directly affect chip production yield and the safe operation of production lines. Recently, the fully‑automatic ZTGAS ZT200‑2 gas mixer has been deployed at JCET Automotive Electronics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Adopting an active‑standby dual‑mode switch configuration, the system delivers stable specialty gas mixture 24×365 for semiconductor packaging‑and‑testing production lines and helps improve product yield.

JCET is a semiconductor packaging and testing service provider offering one‑stop chip manufacturing services including wafer testing, chip packaging and final testing. It has accumulated proven technical experience in advanced packaging, and sets strict requirements for process‑gas mixing accuracy and supply reliability. To meet the demand for non‑stop production on‑site, two sets of ZT200‑2 fully‑automatic gas mixers are deployed for this project.
The active‑standby system supports fault‑triggered automatic switchover and scheduled alternating switchover. Alarm notifications are pushed to mobile APP upon each switch event. Combined with remote monitoring functions, the setup effectively avoids production‑line shutdown risks caused by single‑unit failure and guarantees uninterrupted gas supply.

Equipment delivery was completed at the end of July; site installation kicked off in July, and the system was officially put into operation on August 3. The on‑site pilot production trial lasted for two weeks. In line with semiconductor process validation standards, multi‑level reliability verifications were performed:

Calibrate gas analyzers on‑site with calibration gas to guarantee accurate reference measurements;

Authorized third‑party institution performed on‑site sampling inspection for mixed gas output from the mixer; all test results passed requirements;

Gas mixtures generated by the equipment were stored in vacuum cylinders and fed into customer production lines for pilot runs. After multiple rounds of rigorous testing, the system went into formal operation.

In real‑world production, the ZT200‑2 gas mixer addresses key operational pain‑points for the customer. It maintains highly stable gas mixing ratios, eliminates process deviations caused by ratio fluctuation and improves yield of semiconductor packaged devices.
Equipped with fault‑triggered switch, scheduled alternating switch, mobile APP alarm push and remote monitoring for real‑time equipment status visibility, the active‑standby setup satisfies stringent operational requirements for year‑round non‑stop semiconductor manufacturing.

Hydrogen‑nitrogen gas mixers apply to various scenarios within semiconductor packaging and testing. This project represents another practical implementation of ZTGAS solutions for semiconductor packaging‑and‑testing applications.
Moving forward, ZTGAS will keep focusing on specialty‑gas mixing technologies for semiconductors. By delivering stable and reliable gas mixing equipment, ZTGAS will support high‑quality development of China’s semiconductor industry.
