On July 30, the 2026 Yangtze River Delta Helium Supply Chain Salon was successfully held in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. Hosted by Gas Circle, the forum focused on core industrial topics including global helium supply shortage, helium recycling & reuse, and rare gas supply chain security. It gathered experts from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, as well as enterprises across semiconductor, new material and specialty gas sectors, to jointly explore solutions for stable helium supply. As an official sponsor, Shanghai Mugong Industrial set up an exclusive booth on-site, showcasing two core analytical & mixing equipment models to industry peers for helium-related industrial applications.
The global helium market has entered the "Helium Shortage Cycle 5.0". Helium recycling is no longer merely a cost-saving measure for manufacturers, but a critical guarantee to sustain continuous production. Instead of only calculating payback cycles, enterprises now prioritize supply chain resilience and risk mitigation against production shutdowns. High-precision gas analytical and mixing equipment have become standard hardware for helium recycling lines. Mugong displayed two flagship units for static demonstration at the booth:

This analyzer supports three interchangeable sensors: zirconia, electrochemical and optical, tailored for oxygen monitoring in helium recovery & purification, semiconductor leak testing and inert blanketing processes.
Zirconia sensor: delivers precise readings from 0.5 ppm to 30% O₂ under inert helium background
Electrochemical / optical sensors: cover a full measurement range of 0.1 ppm to 100% O₂
It reliably captures trace oxygen impurities in helium streams to avoid yield loss caused by oxidative contamination.
The derivative model Rapidox 1100Q is equipped with a Thermal Conductivity Detector (TCD) dedicated to quantitative helium concentration measurement. It offers two optional helium ranges: 0–10% or 0–100%. The sensor is heated constantly at 50°C to eliminate reading drift induced by ambient temperature fluctuations, with measurement accuracy of ±1% full scale and a 90% step response time of approximately 20 seconds. The TCD sensor has an expected service life of 5 years, ideal for helium recovery, leak detection, welding shielding gas and inert atmosphere storage applications.
Standard built-in features include 2 programmable alarm relays, user-configurable 0–10 V voltage output and 4–20 mA linear current output, RS232 communication (RS485 optional) and Modbus RTU protocol, plus built-in data logging. A variable-speed diaphragm sampling pump (0–1.2 L/min) is available as an option. The unit supports benchtop and panel-mount installation, with gas fittings mountable on either front or rear panel, compatible with 4 mm ID / 6 mm OD tubing. It accepts universal 90–260 VAC mains power and features a straightforward calibration procedure for low daily maintenance overhead.

Constructed entirely from stainless steel, this mixer supports proportional blending of helium, nitrogen, argon and carbon dioxide. It achieves mixing precision better than ±1%, with adjustable flow ranging from 0 to 50 Nm³/h. It is widely used for preparing standard ternary helium-based calibration gas mixtures, leak-test shielding gas for semiconductors and lab calibration gas formulation. Optional add-ons include remote pressure alarming, mobile APP data monitoring and historical blending log traceability, delivering customized helium-mixed gas stably for continuous production lines.
Despite high temperatures, Mugong’s technical team remained on-site throughout the event to receive visitors. Representatives from semiconductor manufacturers, helium recycling plants and research institutes stopped by to inspect the equipment, consulting on helium process compatibility, equipment selection and long-term after-sales service packages.
Beyond the two exhibited units, Shanghai Mugong Industrial maintains a full product portfolio covering all stages of helium industrial workflows, delivering multi-scenario hardware solutions for helium recycling, semiconductor fabrication, new material processing and aerospace R&D:

A premium multi-component synchronous detection instrument engineered for complex helium purification, semiconductor and laboratory processes. It simultaneously measures over ten gas components including O₂, H₂, CO and CO₂, perfectly matching the demand for multi-impurity synchronous monitoring in closed-loop helium recovery systems.
The integrated high-performance zirconia oxygen module delivers an ultra-wide measuring range of 10⁻²⁰ ppm to 2500 ppm O₂, capable of detecting ultra-trace oxygen contaminants inside ultra-high-purity helium streams.
An optional wide-range dew point module covers measurement from -110°C to +20°C, tracking moisture content in process gas. One single unit monitors both oxygen and moisture, the two most critical impurities in helium systems.
It integrates a K-type thermocouple input to record process temperature synchronously, with dual installation options: benchtop tabletop or standard 19-inch rack mount. Standard configurations include 4 programmable alarm relays, 4–20 mA / 0–10 V analog outputs and Modbus RTU communication, paired with comprehensive data logging software for long-term process data storage. Suitable for 24/7 online monitoring on helium recycling lines, multi-point sampling analysis and lab calibration of helium-blended gas mixtures. The zirconia sensor enables ppm-level trace oxygen detection under inert helium environments, and multi-gas simultaneous measurement drastically simplifies layout design of helium purification systems, cutting capital investment and operational maintenance costs for production lines.
